6 months, 5 countries - me and my bike

Cycling from Stuttgart to my friend Jürgen in Berlin. Deassemble my bike there, pack it into a box as small as possible, take a train to moscow, check into a cheap hotel nearby the main station, try to get into the Transsiberian railway and travel to Bejing.

Assemble my bike in Bejing and try to ride as fast as possible into the south of china because of the upcoming winter. Cycle on to vietnam, laos, cambodia and thailand. That was my first plan.

But after doing some research in the web, i did not feel real comfortable with that plan, because it could be a challenge to get into the Transsiberian railway with a deassembled bike and all my luggage. The other issue could be the upcoming winter in china. I am not the guy who like to ride in cold weather conditions.

So i decided to fly to Bangkok on the 26th of september.

I will stay in the thai capitol until monday the 3rd of october to collect my visa for myanmar and laos.

Then i wll start cycling to my first big target into the nordwest of thailand, in direction to the three pagodas pass.

I think it will took my four days for the approx 350 km.

But, i think, it´s worth to do it.

Because there, i will find silence...
